PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS
When you order a product from our website you are offering to buy it at the price stated, subject to these terms. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Pierre Cronje Pty Ltd website are correct at the time when the relevant information were entered onto the system.
We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may, for example, result from one of the following: The product ordered being unavailable due to timber availability or our inability to obtain authorization of payment.
ORDER ACCEPTANCE AND CANCELLATION
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept, decline, or limit your order for any reason, whether or not your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has been charged and your order is cancelled, you will receive a refund.
CHANGE IN PRICES
We are constantly updating and revising our offerings of products, and we may discontinue products at any time without notice. For all of our prices and products, we reserve the right to make adjustments due to changing market conditions, currency fluctuations, design discontinuation, timber import price changes, errors in advertisements, and other extenuating circumstances.
All transactions are processed in South African Rands (ZAR).
The available payment methods on the Pierre Cronje (PTY) Ltd website are: Credit card, Debit card, Instant EFT, Direct Bank Deposit
When making a Direct Deposit, your order will only be dispatched once funds have cleared in our bank account. Payment details will be made available on checkout. Please allow up to three working days’ notice to process.
Credit and Debit Card payments are facilitated by Payfast (http://www.payfast.co.za) When paying by Debit or Credit card, you will place your order on our site and then be directed to the Payfast site to finalise payment before being redirected back to our site for final confirmation of your order.
When paying by bank transfer enter your order number as our reference. If you are with First National Bank we will receive the funds the same day. Payment from other banks will take 1-2 working days to clear.

We offer an unconditional return policy on furniture purchased from our website. If for any reason whatsoever you are not satisfied with your purchase, please get in touch with us within 5 days of delivery so that we can arrange for collection. Collection of returned goods by Pierre Cronje will strictly be for the client’s account.
ONLY if it is still in the condition that we sent it to you, we will refund you on your purchase plus initial shipping costs. However, you will have to cover the return shipping costs. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for damages incurred during the shipping process.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get our returning address before sending back the item/s. Returns can be sent back with our preferred 3rd Party Logistics Providers. Alternatively if you live within Cape Town, Johannesburg or Pretoria we can collect the item.
We have done our best to display the colours as accurately as possible of the products shown on this website. However, because the colours you see will depend on the calibration of your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate. Images printed from this website may also not be colour-accurate.
In terms of finish, the following –
- Items are finished as natural as possible to preserve the feeling of timber
- Items are sealed against moisture and common liquid spills
- Items can be waxed for more of a glossy look
All weights and volumes are approximate due to the nature of the majority of the products, which are handmade from natural materials.
Deliveries will take place Monday to Friday.
To your door (South Africa only)
We deliver to your physical address (specified in the delivery address area), throughout South Africa.
We use our own delivery team and vehicles for CAPE TOWN, JOHANNESBURG and PRETORIA deliveries as far as possible –
Your item(s) will be delivered, unwrapped, assembled (where applicable) and placed inside your home.
Please note that should you have any access constraints (i.e. apartment, security complex, lifts/staircases) this must be clearly mentioned under the “Additional Information” section of your order. We unfortunately do not offer hoisting services and do not handle furniture over exterior walls etc. If you are unsure of any of these limitations, kindly get in touch with us to discuss.
We do not provide the service of moving existing furniture items inside your home or making space for your new Pierre Cronje item(s). Please therefore make sure that the area is cleared before we arrive.
Should your residential area fall outside the above-mentioned main centres, your delivery will be done by our preferred and trusted 3-rd party Logistics Partner –
Delivery will be to your front door only. Should you have special delivery requirements or have access constraints to the premises, kindly inform our Dispatch Team on +27 21 691 8589.
You can collect/pick up your order from our Cape Town Factory in Lansdowne or the Pierre Cronje showroom in Kramerville – free of charge. Please note that the same lead times for all items purchased online will apply, and local collection can only take place by prior arrangement.
Online product orders are 3 (three) to 4 (four) weeks (including delivery time). Lead time for custom orders is longer and will be confirmed when an estimate is submitted to the client. Production begins once the deposit reflects and Terms and Conditions are accepted by the client.
Pierre Cronje Pty Ltd reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee that will be calculated in accordance with any work already done. An estimate of the different stages and the costs involved will be provided to the customer.
